These works explore the intriguing landscapes of select parks and protected lands throughout the United States.
This body of work (2025) investigates our relationship to environment using the tools of landscape painting.
Intuitively driven, each artwork centers landscape as an entry-point into the collective consciousness. The atmospheric compositions reveal narratives in the landscape around us, informed by research into the ecology, folklore, and geology of a place. Inspired by the theories of synchronicity and psychogeography, my practice explores various viewpoints—historical, personal, and imagined— to create moments of discovery and empathy with our ever-changing world.
